An afternoon bachelor party with a touch of style! James was getting married and after a frantic afternoon of ‘guy stuff’ his band of brothers had decided that a late lunch was required, but it needed to set the tone for the amazing night they had planned, and what better place to start than our cosy Café Hemingway’s.
Our remit had been …not so precise. ‘Make it stylish, without being pretentious. Tasty without being poncy’ and so we did. Our delectable threesome of sliders with various fillings made it approachable and fun, our Cleopatra salad (beetroot, blue-cheese and walnuts) added a touch of adult style, Atticus Finch platter – laden with cheeses and cold meats with artisan breads, cocktails from Bar Hemingway’s and of course a stunning drip cake in the colours of the wedding for dessert with the grooms favourite – figs!
Perfection on a plate!
